Northwest Indiana is the home to one of the tightest and most tightly-knit scenes in the country. Artists like Liquids, Pukeoid, Big Zit, and Public Assault have left basements and brains ravaged, forever leaving their bootprints in the non-existent hardcore hall-of-fame. A more recent band to claw its way out of the scene is Counter Control, a group of some of the most talented punks to come from the area. Counter Control's second release, "The World is Burning Up EP," featured four tracks showcasing what this badass band brings to the table - tight music, buzzing riffs, tempo changes, group chants, and amazing vocals.
